our recent stay in koggala was incredible - but Kahanda Kanda was even better! The villas, surrounded by lush nature, were stunning and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff went above and beyond to help us, even arranging a tuk-tuk for us. It truly exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it.
Hot water was lacking in the showers.

The cabanas and villas are airy and full of artistic touches, the food is delicious, and the gardens are lush and beautiful. The spa and yoga sessions are a great addition. I loved the option of having a traditional Buddhist ceremony.
Oh, and don't forget the ample supply of hot water, because you know how chilly it gets at night in the mountains.

If you're looking for a relaxing getaway, this hotel is nestled on an idyllic deserted island, surrounded by lush jungle and a clear stream flowing down the hill. The rooms are impeccable, with attention to detail at every turn. The bathrooms are luxuriously appointed with soft towels, and the staff delivers top-notch service. A delectable breakfast with plenty of variety is served daily. If you're feeling active, the gym offers state-of-the-art equipment and the local beach is a short walk away.
The hotel is a bit tricky to find, as signs are easily missed in the dense foliage.

What a perfect place to relax! Sitting on the verandah, enjoying a cool drink and swimming in the pool while peacocks watched nearby was incredibly serene. The staff at this small resort were attentive and always ready to help. We even had the privilege of attending a traditional Sri Lankan wedding during our stay. The resort is well-appointed and beautifully run, offering a true escape from the outside world.

From the moment I arrived, I felt like royalty at this hotel. The service was impeccable, with staff members ensuring my every need was taken care of. My room was luxurious, with exclusive amenities such as a deep soaking tub and a private balcony overlooking lush greenery. The peaceful location also allowed for a serene getaway.
The only minor issue I encountered was the lack of variety in dining options. While the food was delicious, the limited menu could become repetitive for long stays.

We had an amazing stay in this hotel nestled in the Sri Lankan jungle with shy leaf monkeys roaming around. The location was lovely with stunning views of the countryside and it was a peaceful retreat. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast served daily, which had a great variety of options.
There was nothing we didn't like about our stay.

Experiencing ultimate luxury, this hotel meets all the lavish needs of its guests. From the exclusive room amenities to the exceptional restaurant serving eclectic cuisine, everything was top-notch. The service was impeccable, and the outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace made for a relaxing stay. The spa centre provided indulgent massages that left me feeling pampered.
Although everything was perfect, there was a small issue with the beach umbrellas being slightly worn out. However, this did not detract from the overall serene ambiance and luxurious experience at this venue.

Experiencing luxury in southern Sri Lanka was made possible by this stunning hotel! The individual villas were beautifully equipped with private pools, which I made sure to enjoy fully. The location was perfect, just a short bike ride away from the beach and the views of the tea plantations made for some amazing sightseeing. The staff was really helpful and provided great service. The food was delicious, especially the Sri Lankan curries and the meticulously curated wine list, all these positive experiences really elevated my business trip.
There really wasn't anything negative, except maybe the fact that I had to leave this amazing place. The only downside was not being able to stay longer and truly enjoy all the offerings of this wonderful hotel.

Great view from the pool and excellent food variety. Beautifully designed rooms with an impressive outdoor bathroom. The hotel is located in the middle of nature, surrounded by lush greens and wildlife.
The staff seemed a bit uninterested in ensuring we had a comfortable stay, especially at check-in and check-out. The room was not properly cleaned, and we found some dirt on the bathroom floor. The pool was dirty and not well-maintained.
